Compositions

Gideon has composed and arranged many pieces. Whether its compositions that aren’t attached to anything or senior animation projects or arrangements performed at concerts. Here are some of the notable compositions.

This composition was a school project that was originally set to the “Avengers: Endgame” portal scene. Over the span of a year this project has morphed and grown to a much bigger score and turned out really well.

At the beginning of the Fall 2025 semester Dr. Amy Cherry (the trumpet professor at Millersville University) reached out to me asking if there was any way I could arrange a piece for the University’s Winter Concert “Glorious Sounds of the Season (GSS)” that the Trumpet Ensemble could play. I instantly agreed to help. When looking for pieces to arrange that were both upbeat and unique I came across the theme song for Polar Express and immediately knew that was the piece I wanted to arrange. After Consulting with Dr. Cherry and going through multiple different drafts we finally landed on the version you hear in the video. I am really happy with my results and got many compliments from my peers and professors. It was also the very first performance of a piece that I made and that makes it very special.

Disclaimer:
The video audio isn’t the greatest due to it being filmed on an iPhone and the person filming being in a location that doesn’t produce the best sound. For that reason I have also included a audio recording of the piece.
